Howard Prairie Lake is generally considered by fishermen and Fish and Game authorities alike to be among the finest rainbow trout fisheries in the Northwest.

The lake is stocked annually with approximately 400,000 fingerlings. Adult fish typically range from 12 to 20 inches in length and weigh from 1.5 to 3 pounds. Howard Prairie is also home to quite a few smallmouth and largemouth bass and is quickly become a favorite haunt for the regional bass fishermen.

The full-service marina covers all of your fishing needs including tackle, bait, and fuel. The resort sells fishing licenses for daily/seasonal, resident and non-resident anglers. Rent one of the boats or bring your own and moor it at the dock or on a buoy.
