The county's lone covered bridge near Remote was by-passed from auto-crossing in 1949 and now rests in a wayside park. It stands in the town of Remote, located between the Oregon Coast and Roseburg (inland). This is the only Covered bridge in Coos County, more are located in the nearby Northern counties.
