Silver Lake is located in Southeast Oregon in Lake County. It is 6 miles east of the community of Silver Lake. It is unknown who first gave the lake its descriptive name. We can not find much info on this lake as to it's condition.

Silver Creek Marsh Campground is nearby:
Popular fishing spot along Silver Creek..
4800' above sea level.
Forest setting.
Campground with a trailhead for the Fremont National Recreation Trail.

Accommodations:
17 tent and trailer sites.
Picnic tables and fire grates.
Drinking water.
Horse corrals and 5 hitching rails.

Recommended Season:
Maintained from May 1 through November 15

How to get there:
From Silver Lake District Office:
Go 1/4 mile west on Highway 31, and turn left on County Road 4-11. Take Forest Road 27 for 10 miles, and you should see the campground/trailhead entrance sign.
