Bandon Oregon is home to several galleries and shops containing hand crafted art and the works of art done in metals, wood, glass, oils, and ceramics along with nautical items. In Bandon, whale watching is very popular. In late December the whales migrate south, and in late March they return. Face Rock Wayside has volunteers to give you tips on spotting the whales. Early morning is best before white caps appear.
 
The Port of Bandon has several popular visitor areas. The Marina, Weber's Pier for crabbing and fishing, the High Dock behind Adventure Kayak, and the South Jetty.

Enjoy the Cranberry Festival is September every year. Plenty of blue sky's in the summer and fall, rain sprinkles are not uncommon, and the the air is fresh and clean. Summers are warm with a wide range of temperatures in the fall Fall. Winters are usually wet and wild.

The Festival of Lights - December 1st through 31st you can experience The Festival of Lights. Businesses, homes and boats go all out to brighten the holiday season. The Lighthouse reflects across the river with it's dressing of all white lights. There are many events take place during this time.
